Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, I always loved drawing the African veld and the majestic animals inhabiting it. I immigrated to Australia in 1997 and went on to study Graphic Design at Design College Australia in Brisbane and then gained my Bachelors in Fine Art at the National Art School in Sydney.
Concentrating on mastering painting and drawing, I have focused my attention on landscapes and the fascinating creatures in them. I have gone on to exhibit my paintings at various galleries across Australia and my work is in private and public collections in both Australia, South Africa, America, New Zealand and Japan.
I have designed logos for various companies and partnered in a fashion label where I designed the clothing and was also responsible for branding, the website design, and ran the seasonal campaigns. I have developed painting techniques and designed sculptures for a company that created wooden Australian birds for galleries around Australia. These sculptures can be found in collections as far afield as New York, Los Angeles, London and Stockholm.
I am constantly looking for new creative challenges and am looking forward to re designing my motorbike in the near future. I will post this project up as soon as it is complete...
